Chapter 2
How to Pick That Agency
Alright Frank, I am a pretty serious guy and I think I want to go ahead. What do I do now? How do I pick that agency? I have broken this chapter down into several parts. Each is
important in its own way, but the degree of importance is up to each individual.
Things to look for
Different agencies provide different services. You may find the particular information you are looking for under the
"methods" in Chapter One; however, an agency should provide several things, which I feel are vital to you. They should also give you certain information. It should be freely listed and
easily obtained. None of this, "I'll send you a list of people in the mail next week." Quick and easy dissemination of whatever information you request is an absolute must. For the most
part you should be able to access information easily before you even contact the agency. They should gladly, publicly display this data. Lack thereof is an accurate signal that you may have
difficulties later when you need this info (and you will). If they cannot help you when you are a potential customer, what will happen once they have your money?
What about Testimonials?
While these are good references, they are by no means the rest of the story. Men that find their perfect mate are usually excited about this union and will gladly share their
experience. They tend to be pleased with the agency that made this happen and will "swear" by the method they used. But then again so will the millionaire "swear" by the virtues
of the lottery if that is the way he became a millionaire. More valid testimonials are from those couples that have either been married for a while or tried other methods before this success.
The seasoned couple is far less captivated by the emotion of the moment and has had a chance to evaluate their experience from a more realistic viewpoint. Just as you can tell the
true strength of a good meal only after you have eaten it. Trying to determine the strength of the meal, while you are chewing the meal, and you are extremely hungry, is not a valid indicator.
Another area of testimonials to consider is the failures. While no business likes to show the "unhappy" customer, those that do, honestly admit the limitations of this
process. I rate this very high on the credibility list of agencies and services. I know of only a handful of agencies that tout their divorces on the same page as their marriages and engagements.
This is a true mark of quality character within the company.
Look for examples. By this I mean, does the company give very specific examples of how particular individuals went about finding success in their quest. Within the same company men
use different tactics to achieve their success. Does the company give and share these examples - even encourage the use of others?
I learned much about this process from those that went before me and this book is designed to share this with those coming up behind. I was given the instructions on what to do and
not do. As I have said before, joining [certain agencies] is like joining a network. You get a lot of information from your 'brothers' that are also in the process. Does the particular agency you
use promote and advertise interaction between clients? Most important because many of the scams and less than reputable operations don't want you to talk with others in the company.
